The Beautiful Sheik Zayed Mosque

 Abu Dhabi is a beautiful city,with a world famous mosque known as the "Sheik Zayed mosque".It is one of the most grand and beautiful attractions of the world and it is a must visit when going to Abu Dhabi.

Time:2 hours (approximately),travel time:1.5 hours from Dubai

The sheik Zayed mosque is the worlds most beautiful mosque located in Abu Dhabi,UAE.it is made up of Macedonian marble and is a must visit.

While visiting the mosque,it is necessary to keep the following in mind-

1-wear sunglasses-the white marble reflects the sun’s light due to which it is hard to see if not wearing eye protection.It is also mostly in the open area,so make sure u wear sun screen as well

2-carry a scarf or long cloth -we assumed that we would be getting abayas or head scarfs while visiting the mosque,but unfortunately that was not the case.After researching a lot on the net about the dress code,we figured that they would give us abayas that we had to wear,however this was not the case.When we reached there,we had to buy a head scarf to cover our heads(that cost around 30 AED) and we had to wear that for the entire duration.

Ensure that you wear LOOSE CLOTHES and carry a head scarf which is comfortable and big enough to cover your entire head for the entire duration

3-carry a water bottle -it is extremely important that you carry a water bottle as it is extremely hot in there.

Overall,the experience of the mosque was amazing,with eating joints just below it where one can eat.

The international trade fair in Delhi from 14 November to 27th of November held at Pragati Medan is one of the biggest in the country!
